Dammit, why did I get a girlfriend. This game is super tough.

Heh. Short, kinda weird game. Not terribly entertaining, but totally worth a 2 minute play through for the ridiculous ending.

The game has simple mechanics and it's pretty straight forward. I love the graphics and audio; it's like a scene from an old DOS game. I agree with Plasmarift, in that there should be some sort of back story. However, with a game this short, I suppose it fairs well enough without it.

I'm sure there are several ways you could improve on this game; maybe more levels? Multiple enemies and tables? Just some ideas.

Great game, and highly original. Not sure why other users are having trouble. Though it is difficult to reload completely, it's not impossible.

Well, that was extremely unfulfilling. It was a nice game, but short... really short.

Very interesting. Towards the middle of the game, I became surprisingly aware of exactly how difficult it was to right down the words. Of course, I didn't get them all - I even have a few partial words - but that final thought at the end of the game was worth it. This might be a great inspirational tool to use from time to time as the "creators-block" strikes.

I'll definitely be saving this piece of paper to use at a later date.

Thanks, that's great to hear.

Not overly difficult, but still challenging. The dialogue is great, and the voice acting was well done. The art leave's a little to be desired, but who really plays games strictly for the graphics? Not I, said the cat.

This would be a cult classic, had it been released on the Gameboy decades ago. There are elements from classic games, such as Megaman, Contra, and Gunstar Hero - yet the game feels totally it's own.

I love the demo and I'll be eagerly awaiting the finished product. Sorry you didn't get it out by Robo-Day.

SinclairStrange responds:

Aye, it was a pity. I just started out when I got a contract in and therefore it needed to be put on hold. Although I was going to be damned if I didn't do something, so I took a break and designed as much I could in a day.

Glad you like the retroness!

The controls are a little unresponsive, but this is a pretty okay runner. I like the competitive aspect of the game... That might be this games only real lure, to be honest.

Great game. The concept is simple. Very reminiscent of Bomberman and such games, but with fresh elements added.

The tutorials weren't as big of a drag as some people have made 'em out to be. I think they helped me learn the basics in a fairly short amount of time, and the text that popped up when a new thing was introduced helped lessen confusion. I doubt I'd have known what the goal of the game was had it not been for that little fly and his word bubbles.

The graphics were insanely smooth. I could see this game being an Xbox marketplace game. The difficulty wasn't overly challenging, yet certain levels required planning out a course of action instead of blindly destroying orbs and enemies.

I'm sure this has great replay value, and I'd definitely love to play a sequel.

Even for a kids game, that was pretty difficult.
